GEORGE A. ROMERO WRITING STORY FOR ANTHOLOGY NOVEL
Author Jonathan Maberry is set to co-edit an anthology novel for publisher Griffin that will be set in the 48 hours surrounding the events of George A. Romero's immortal horror classic Night of the Living Dead. The working title of the book is 'Horror of the Living Dead'. The book is currently expected to consist of seventeen stories, and in addition to Romero, Russo, and Maberry the announced contributors are Brad Thor, Brian Keene, Chuck Wendig, Craig Engler, David Wellington, Isaac Marion, Jay Bonansinga, Joe Lansdale, Joe McKinney, Keith R.A. DeCandido, Mike Carey, Mira Grant, Neal Shusterman & Brandon Shusterman, and Sandra Brown & Ryan Brown.
Griffin has not yet scheduled a release date for the novel, but Maberry says it will most likely be out in early 2017.
