For a while now Christopher Nolan's name gets mentioned when a new James Bond film is 'in discussion stages' and to be honest, he'd make a perfect Bond director. 
Whilst on BBC's Newsnight Nolan was asked whether taking on a 007 adventure would be of interest to him.

Christopher Nolan said
"It's a great franchise, and I grew up absolutely loving it. They seem to be doing fine without me".

the interviewer replied "That's not a no?"
"it's not a no, but it's not a yes" replied Nolan
