THE WALKING DEAD
SEASON 7

Picture
AMC have announced that it has renewed The Walking Dead for a seventh season! How great is that?

Read the official press release
In addition, AMC has renewed Talking Dead, the live after-show hosted by Chris Hardwick that ranks in the top 10 across all television among adults 18-49, with new episodes to follow The Walking Dead.
“Thank goodness someone had a Magic 8-Ball with them in our many long internal meetings about these renewals. When, on the third shake, ‘without a doubt’ filled the murky blue screen, we knew we had to proceed with new seasons of The Walking Dead and Talking Dead,” said Charlie Collier, president of AMC, SundanceTV and AMC Studios. “All joking aside, we are so proud to share these shows with fans who have been so passionate, communicative and engaged. We are grateful for and continually impressed by the talent, effort and excellence on continuous display by Robert Kirkman, Scott Gimple, Chris Hardwick and the many people with whom we partner to make these unique shows possible. The result: More Walking and Talking. Hooray.”

For Season 7, Scott M. Gimple will return as the series’ showrunner and executive producer, along with executive producers Robert Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd, David Alpert, Greg Nicotero and Tom Luse.

5 Best Scenes From
The Daniel Craig Bond Films

Picture
It's hard to believe that Daniel Craig has been playing James Bond for 10 years now, his portrayal as Bond is pretty good and what makes his Bond films great is that they seem realistic, they've got rid of the camp factor, cheesy lines and invisible cars, (you can tell the producers sat down and watched The Bourne Films). But thats not a bad thing, it's a good way to kick start the Bond franchise.

With Spectre soon heading to theatres we take a look at 5 of Daniel Craig's best scenes from his Bond films.

Check out watch John Carpenter said about the upcoming screenings.
Carpenter said
“I think most people have probably seen the movie at home, or on pay-per-view, or on television,” Carpenter says. “But the place to see the film is on a big screen, in the theater. It was designed — the Panavision widescreen was designed for theaters, the lighting was designed for theaters. This is the best place to see it.”

Night of the Living Dead
The Lost Footage

Picture
Night of the Living Dead is considered to be one of the most important horror films ever made. Released in 1968 the movie went on to becoming an instant cult classic gaining fans including writer-director Quentin Tarantino who stated  "the "A" in George A. Romero stands for "A fucking genius."

Romero allegedly has found a 16mm work print of
Night of the Living Dead
, which is said to include a roughly 9-minute long scene never before released on home media!

This was a scene that takes place at the jump cut in the basement, and including the largest zombie scene in the film!

Romero's and his old pal Martin Scorsese are working on a new restoration of the film from the original negatives, No plans have been announced yet but imagine a restoration of this on Blu-ray.

A couple of weeks ago we learnt that Len Wiseman the director of Die Hard 4.0 is developing the sixth installment and is simply titled Die Hard: Year One.

Willis talked on Entertainment Tonight in the US, he said of
Die Hard: Year One  that "it's a very good idea, a really tricky idea, and I'm very happy about it".

He added that "it's a really cool idea, because it's the origin story. We're going to bounce back and forth".

A Message From Lucasfilm

THANK YOU FOR A HISTORIC
STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS WEEK

Picture
It's been a huge week for Star Wars fans! Monday night we were treated to the final trailer for The Force Awakens ahead of its December 17th release and fans around the world reacted in ways that only Star Wars fans will get! Lucasfilm saw your responses and excitement over the new trailer, and therefore they have a very special message for you!

The excitement. The joy. The power of Star Wars fans.

They’re real.

After two record-breaking teasers, the full trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens debuted earlier this week, and we are humbled by the response. The sneak peek shown during ESPN’s Monday Night Football was seen by a TV audience of over 16 million, followed by an immediate release on YouTube, Facebook, and platforms worldwide. In just 24 hours, the trailer was viewed online more than 112 million times. That’s 128 million times globally in a single day! But more than numbers, there was discussion, there were reaction videos, there were fun memes. There were cheers and there were tears from fans young and old. We saw and loved it all, and it meant the world to the creators of the film. And we were equally blown away by the advance ticket sales.

Websites slowed, crashed, and became one with the Force. (There probably hasn’t been this big of a network jam in a galaxy far, far away since the Emperor’s trap in the Battle of Endor.) Incredibly — but not surprisingly — you set numerous records, including the biggest-ever 24 hours for advance sales in numerous countries. In the UK, more than 200,000 tickets were sold in the first day. In Norway, you braved subzero temperatures overnight to make sure you were among the first to see the film. Fortunately, there are still plenty of tickets to be had for opening weekend and beyond.

All of us at Lucasfilm are totally overwhelmed by the enthusiasm we’ve seen from fans this week and throughout the lead-up to this film. And we still have 56 days to go until the official December 18 release date!

Thank you all for making the Star Wars universe what it is, and for keeping it alive and growing and meaningful. Star Wars is back and beginning an exciting new journey, and it’s because of you.
The Force. It’s calling to you. We can’t wait for you to let it in, again, this December.

Why not play the trailer once more? go on....
